Print and preview a Learning Activity

You can print a copy of your Learning Activity in the Activity Builder. This option allows the author of the Learning Activity to send the course they created to a subject matter expert within or outside their organisation.
There are two ways you can access the Print option:
- In the Activity Builder Dashboard.
Use the Context menu for the Learning Activity that you would like to print.
- By using the Print icon, which is available when you open the Learning Activity in Edit mode.
When you click the Print option, your course opens in a separate window and it shows the course in HTML view. This Print option allows your team to audit the course’s content before it is published.
Once opened, you can view the content in its HTML form, save it as a PDF, and print it. An example of the print version is provided below - you can print or save it by using the Print page link:
You can add the following options to a course when you create a Learning Activity in the Activity Builder – these are also included in the printed version of the course:
- Topic
- Page
- Images
- Video links
- Audio file name
- SCORM package name
- Assessments with the correct answer shown
The Print view includes the Topics and Pages, which are listed as per their sequence (including the numbering) in the course. The heading of each Topic and Page is also included.
The Print version shows all the images used in the course.
A page that contains a video (such as a YouTube or Vimeo video) also includes the link for that video.
If your Learning Activity includes a SCORM activity (package) or an audio file, then the Print version shows the name of that file.
Assessments are listed in the Print version and they include the correct answer(s) - these are the ones that are displayed with a tick.
